[edit] General Information

The merciless Mahirim travel at night in packs, guided only by the Ghost Moon, as they plunder and pillage enemy grounds. The Mahirim, who call the Tribelands home, are a predatorial society that has only recently attempted to become an organized civilization. Though they are now governed by law, they remain as wild as their ancestors.

[edit] Culture

The Ghost Moon, second moon of Agon, is worshiped by the Mahirim race. This moon deity called "Theia" by the Mahirim is viewed as a huntress, provider of natures plenty, and a conqueror.

The prophet-king Amurran envisioned the Tribelands as a nation, instead of a nomadic group of hunters, and hoped to one day establish the Mahirim civilization. Though this king is dead, his goals have continued to live on by the Elders of the Red Moon. The Elders of the Red Moon hold extreme power over the Tribelands and are responsible for its continued progress.

[edit] Elders of Red Moon

The Elders of Red Moon is a group inspired by the work of the prophet-king Amurran. They established the Tribelands capital and have also been developing the Mahirim into a nation. They now seek to advance the Mahirim both militarily and culturally.

[edit] Long Claw

To the Long Claw only the Mahirim are hunters, all else is prey. This group travels about raiding settlements of all other races. The Long Claw disagree with the Elders and do not wish to lose the wild ways of the Mahirim.

[edit] Circle of Neith

This groupworships the blue moon of Neith. While much is unknown about the Circle of Neith it is said they believe the blue moon is the source of all magic. These Circle members, who are capable of spellcasting, are quite different from most other Mahirim. Their obsession with magical items and ancient artifacts is a testament to their interests in world history.

[edit] Wolfmasks

This order enforces law for Elders of Red Moon. The Wolfmasks are named for their wolf like helmets that are worn when they are dispatched both within the Tribelands and in enemy territory.

[edit] Ghost Pack

The Ghost Pack is a feared group of twisted thrill hunters. They are obsessed with the challenge of the hunt and will even hunt other Mahirim for the sport of it.

[edit] Cult of the Moonbeast

Worshiping a diety who hunts and kills all in its path, this cult seeks to emulate the carnage of their god. These unpredictable mutated Mahirim have altered their appearance out of respect for their primal god.

[edit] Details

The Mahirim are much faster when running on all four legs. Their uncanny four legged speed makes having a mount unnecessary.

The Mahirim often use Ghost Claws. These weapons, crafted only by Mahirim mastersmiths, are made of moonstone. These weapons have a strange connection with the goddess Theia. As the cycles of the Ghost Moon vary, so does the power of the Ghost claw.

Mahirim tend to dislike most races, although they do respect the strong warlike orks. Mahirim will generally avoid joining clans with races outside of the Mahirim and Orks.
