Most of Morak is covered in swamps. These swamps are filled with a sticky mud. The sun is rarely visible in this Ork homeland as the clouds and swamp mist prevent any light from entering the murky region.
Many volcanoes are present in the northern portion of Morak. This volcanic area is very jagged, barren, and rocky.
Morak is located in the central eatern portion of the main continent. To the south is Mercia, with whom the Orks are in constant conflict. The Orks also must face the Dwarves of Dvergheim to the northwest. Northeast of Morak is the continent of Yssam, and in the west is Pall of Oncylus.
[edit] Flaming Skull
This Ork capital,lying in the midst of rivers filled with volcanic lava, is located near an active volcano. Due to minor eruptions from the Flaming Skull, sunlight is never seen through the ash. Orks are more than happy with recent increases in volcanic activity, despite the recent loss of the village of Flayed Elf. They believe that the eruptions are the signs of the Fire Dragon beginning to stir.
The Great Stairs are located within the Flaming Skull, which is also the home of the Fire Dragon. Victims are marched to the Great Stairs and thrown to the Fire Dragon as sacrifices. Although the Fire Dragon is currently believed to be sleeping, it is said she will soon wake.
Three important villages are located near Flaming Skull. The newly rebuilt Flayed Elf is a port city guarded by a coastal keep and lighthouse. Chopping Necks rises from a lava lake on a series of pillars, and Metal heart is located on an island in a swamp.
