[edit] General Information

Armies of Orks are constantly marching on foot as they search for new nations to conquer, cities to build, and potential slaves. Orks believe excessive planning is cowardly. They prefer to display unyielding courage and aggression. Although their behavior may appear irrational Orks believe every sacrifice and battle to be part of a master plan. This plan is referred to as the Big Burning. If the Big Burning were to be successfully executed all of Agon would be burned and prepared for the reign of the Fire Dragon.

[edit] Culture

Within the Ork community slaves perform all manual labor. These slaves are most often goblin, but some are also enslaved Svartdvergir. The Orks view themselves only as warriors, not as workers.

The Orkish tribes were seperate until recently when their own faith in the Fire Dragon unified the Ork nation. This Fire Dragon currently resides in the Flaming Skull and rules through the red dragon Arxanthos. The Fire Dragon is able to communicate to Arxanthos through dreams, who in turn is able to give the commands received to the Dragonbound priesthood. It is said that eventually the Fire Dragon will return and, with the help of the Orkish Army, she will bring about the Big Burning. The Orks anxiously are awaiting her return.

Orks are always looking for victims they can sacrifice for the Fire Dragon. The Orks will go out on raids and bring the captives back to the Flaming Skull. Within the Skull are the Great Stairs and at the top a fire pit. Victims are cast into this pit that eventually leads to the Fire Dragon's lair.

A head king serves as the leader of the Orks. The leader is titled the Big Head of Flaming Skull. Throughout history these kings have been fairly inconsistent. The current leader is Uzrok Deathfist. Deathfist resents the power of the priesthood and feels that Arxanthos only pretends that he receives orders from the Fire Dragon. Often Arxanthos claims the Fire Dragon requires that treasure be brought to his lair.

[edit] Enemies

[edit] Sadayel

The Sadayel race may be found in the swamps of Morak. These somewhat civilized lizardmen tend to be resourceful and peaceful. Despite their general disposition, the race harbors a strong hatred for the Orks. The Orks and Sadayel have been rivals over the swamp resources.

Rising from stilts in the swamps, the Sadayel villages are comprised of a series of interconnected platforms. The Sadayel enjoy building homes among the trees and usually can be found in mangrove forests and wooded swamps.

The Sadayel tend to be shorter and are not skilled fighters in hand to hand combat. Luckily for the Sadayel, they excel in spellcasting and archery. To enhance their limited combat styles, they ally with Akathar bird men, and will bring flying snakes into battle.

[edit] Groups

[edit] Iron Orks

This elite group is commanded by Big Head Uzrok. To become a member of the Iron Orks an Ork must first be selected for exceptional strength, ferocity, and cunning in battle. As the Iron Orks continue to build power it is speculated that they may be scheming to overthrow the Dragonbound.

[edit] Defenders of the Swamp

Working as an Orkish order of knights, each member of this group dedicates their life to keeping the Morak swamps rid of all unwanted things. As monsters and other enemies run rampant throughout Morak the Defenders of the Swamp have an abundance of work. The members of this group are usually exceedingly fond of violence.

[edit] Dragonbound

Members of this group dedicate themselves to the Fire Dragon. They cover their bodies in scars and cut off their lips as a symbol of their loyalty. The Dragonbound are not afraid to secretly go against the will of the Big Head, and view him as more of a strategic piece of the Fire Dragons plan.

[edit] Erodach

Masters of fire, the Erodach are a powerful kind of humanoid. This famed group is known for their arrogance, cruelty, and intelligence. While they are not natives of Agon, no one knows where the Erodach originated. Their motives are vastly unknown and despite their supposed allegiance to the Fire Dragon many believe they have a hidden agenda.

[edit] Guild of Thugs

The Guild of Thugs is a band of outlaws who would like to see anarchy throughout Morak. This organized group hates the Dragonbound and loves to undermine the Big Head.

[edit] Details

To strengthen the Ork nation, all weak and sickly children are thrown into the swamps. This process has made the Orks one of the strongest races. They also have a natural born skill for anything involving melee combat and brute force.

Orks ride bad tempered Death Pigs. These mounts are always glistening in a sticky sweat. The Death Pigs have curved tusks protruding from the sides of their mouths giving them a slight advantage in combat. To strengthen the coats of the Pigs leenspar, also used to decorate runes, is applied to the skin.

To an Ork, any other race are simply a resource that provides income and victims. The only race ever respected by the Orks is the Mahirim.
