Wielding dark magic battle axes, the Svartdvergir are fierce night eyed fighters. The Svartdvergir go berserk in battle, reflecting the cruel wrath of a deity whose liquid essence infects all Svartdvergir.
[edit] Behavior
The Svartdvergir ritually drink the Essence of Sahul when they come of age. This Essence of a mysterious and ancient deity controls Svartdvergir society. After consuming the essence the individual is able to channel its rage during battle. The Essence of Sahul takes over during these rages, and can assumes control over the subject at any time.
Sahul wishes to weaken the dwarven state and spread his Essence to new subjects there. The Svartdvergir are more than willing to aid in any endeavors of the Sahul by any means available. With the power of the Essence Sahul can comminicate and coordinate any Dvergheim settlements. Sahul has already had mild success in subverting Dvergheim citizens.
[edit] Environment
Svartdvergir prefer remote locations like caverns and valleys in Dvergheim. Any attempts by the government to infiltrate Svartdvergir strongholds have proven disastrous as the Svartdvergir have the the Essence, as well as many spies within mainstream society.
