The icebound planet of Agon is awakened by the goddess. As word stones were cast over its surface, dry land and oceans began to form.

The first signs of life began to emerge from word stones planted by the goddess.

The evolution of the races began as the goddess selected hominids of Agon in which to plant the spark of intelligence.

The goddess was killed by a group of mortals who, desiring her power, were able to infiltrate the Halls of the Goddess.

War broke out among those that had elevated themselves to the status of Usurper Gods. Many died as the war raged on for centuries.

As the Usurper Gods continued their struggles a new class of God's arose from the mortals of Agon. Many of these new Gods took power from the old. The Usurper Wars were ended with a truce between the remaining Usurper Gods and the new Gods. Throughout the Usurper War some word stones were lost.

Two elven heroes, Lorathai and Myrthai, set out to locate the home of the demons who occasionally attacked Agon. It is said they were successful in locating the home, but were killed. The Mirdain ceased to worship the three remaining original Usurper Gods when Lorathai and Myrthai reawakened as Gods.

Ymir emerged and began to show the Dwarves the secrets of runecasting, metal extraction, and magesmithing. Ymir encouraged new explorations and invention as he hinted that their were more secrets to be discovered. Ymir left with the promise that he would return when the all secrets of metal and stone were revealed. Upon his arrival he vowed to give a final task, upon its completion the Dwarves would be led into a golden age.

Lorathai and Myrthai produce a son named Melechai. Melechai was adored for his beauty and potential good.

Ymir's Tear, the capital city of the Dwarves, was founded. It was built within a hollowed rock formation and the interior decorated to resemble the constellations of the night sky.

The rebellion of Melechai begans as he steals the Silver Circlet from his mother. He successfully convinced both parents that the theft was made by a Celestial Dragon. Then Melechai changed his name to Melek and began the second part of his plan.

Melek proceeded to gather henchmen and kidnap complete clans of the Mirdain. All captives were led to an underground cavern where they could easily be kept from the Gods. In the cavern Melek used the Silver Circlet to warp the minds of his victims, bringing them to become his devoted followers. All of Melek's followers were eventually changed physically as well in order to meet the needs of Melek.

Melek emerged from the Cave of Birth with his new army of followers called the Alfar. In the cavern of Dun Mardukar they founded the capital city of Shoal. There Melek made the Towers of Silence his new home.

In an attempt to stop their son, Lorathia and Myrthai led an invasion of Nagast, but in the end were defeated.

The people who lived in the Eannic delta of Mercia began to perfect agriculture, and build the first Human cities.

Charybis was founded on an island in the Lake of Dreams.

The first king of Chaldea, Ashur-Sin, was crowned. Shortly after the city of Ashur, the first metropolis, was founded.

The Chaldeans invaded Morak after the Orks lead numerous raids in Chaldean settlements. After ten years the Ork civilization is brought under control.

The Ithwen ship from Yssam arrived in Ashur and peaceful relations were established with the Chaldeans. Trade began between the Ithwen, Chaldeans, Dwarves, and Mirdain.

The Chaldeans encountered the Alfar who were dwelling in the caverns of Nagast. In an attempt to completely destroy the Alfar civilization, the Chaldeans established fortresses at all entrances to the caverns, but were unsuccessful.

The Chaldeans began to colonize the continent of Rubaiyat. The city of Kasdim was also established on the continent of Cairn for trading purposes.

Northmen in Niflheim began trading wood and fur for luxuries and weapons with the Chaldeans.

Tiring of Mahirim raids, the Chaldeans successfully attacked the Mahirim. A large city was built near the Mahirim city of Moontower.

The time of the Chaldean Peace began as their armies unsured peace for nearly one thousand years throughout all of Agon.

The humans upon the island of Lyonesse were befriended upon the Chaldean discovery of the island. Writing and the arts were introduced to the people of the secluded island.

[edit] 4,220 years ago in Chaldea and Nagast

A violent flood destroyed many Chaldean cities. Simultaneously the Alfar began to attack all outposts guarding the entrances to the Alfar cave networks. The Alfar successfully decimated all cities that had survived the flooding. With the help of the Ithwen, Mirdain, and Dwarves the Alfar were forced into a retreat. The help came too late, as all heirs to the throne had been slain and the Chaldean empire had collapsed.

The leading citizens of Ashur escaped to the city of Kasdim as the city of Ashur fell to the Alfar. Once safe on the continent of Cairn, the last of the Chaldeans destroyed the teleporting gates they had used while fleeing.

Eight Mirdain Archmages sought the lost word stones with a spell fueled by a powerful artifact. The attempt was unsuccessful and each mage, residing in seperate towers, became engulfed in morphing magic. The eight towers remained haunted by the aftermath.

The Chaldean city state of Kasdim began to die as the lakes near it went dry. All valuable magic, books, and artifacts were sealed in a dungeon for safekeeping.

An isolationist movement began among the Mirdain after conflicts with non-elven loggers. Angered by the current kings unsympathetic views toward their plight, the isolationists launched a rebellion to establish a new king. When the attempt failed the isolationists left for the Denwode forest. These elves were referred to as Ciel Fey, an elven race who saw the Mirdain as the enemy.

The city state of Akkad on the continent of Rubaiyat began to grow rapidly as it became rich and powerful through trade.

Lyonesse sent out explorers to find a fabled ancient race in the west. They landed in Mercia only to find the Chaldean civilization gone.
